We produce plates, sheeting, custom-made cut-outs, strips and stamped parts from cellular rubber from 1 mm thicknesses for the whole industry. All cellular rubber products are also available in the one-sided self-adhesive finish as assembly aids. One of the most important material properties of the closed-cell elastomer rubber is that it is not porous. The following main groups differentiate between the cellular rubber qualities:
Natural rubber (Abbreviations: NK, NRB, NR/SBR)
If produced on the basis of natural and synthetic rubber, natural rubber has a high mechanical tensile and resistance strength. This quality is suitable for technical purposes with no especially high requirements with regard to temperature, ageing or resistance.
Ethylene propylene diene monomer rubber (EPDM)
EPDM is based on synthetic rubber. This quality is very resistant against the effects of ageing, ozone, light. EPDM cellular rubber is particularly good for external use.
CR (Chloroprene) / Nitrile rubber (NBR, acryl nitrile - butadiene -rubber)
Neoprene-nitrile qualities are produced on the basis of synthetic rubber. In the development stage, value is attached specifically to resistance against heat, fire and weather conditions. Neoprene qualities are highly inflammable and ozone-resistant. In addition they are resistant to light acids, oil and leaching.
