Cellular polyethylene
Cellular polyethylene is a closed-cell, physically cross-linking foam.
Production is carried out by means of
- Extrusion
- Cross-linking
- Foaming
The fixed foaming agent is mixed with the polymer and other additives and extruded into a fixed mass.
This mass is cross-linked with an electrojet, before the foaming agent mass is thermally activated.
Our product range includes a large spectrum of cellular polyethylene products. Cut-outs, plates, strips, cylinder profiles and stamped parts are available in a self-adhesive finish for assembly aids or as non-self adhesive. Cellular polyethylene products are outstandingly suitable for sealing, soft bearings and sound insulation.
