Since 1989, we, Kautschuk und Kunststoffteile GmbH, have stood for the production of high-quality insulation and sealing products of cellular rubber, sponge rubber and cellular polyethylene as well as other materials. Today we can look back with pride on a corporate history that has repeated in 2014 for the 25th time.
Corporate History
Kautschuk- und Kunststoffteile GmbH was founded in 1989. At the time, the company was headquartered in Hilchenbach in the Siegerland district in North Rhine Westphalia. The company initially used two separate halls in the area of the town of Hilchenbach: a factory hall for production and another one to store materials. The production of rubber and plastic parts turned out to be successful. The company experienced quick growth. Soon, new employees were employed.
Thanks to the introduction of comprehensive quality management, the company was able to be certified to DIN EN ISO 9001 in the mid-1990s. Certification and the consistently high demand of production quality brought further success. With increasing order numbers, space demand grew as well – new corporate premises had to be found. The new industrial park Schemscheid in Siegen offered the best conditions with its good connection to infrastructure close to the access to the A45 motorway. KKT GmbH moved into its new domicile in the town of Siegen in the late 1990s. To this day, the premises have enough space for production, storage and office areas under a single roof. KKT GmbH celebrated its 25th birthday in 2014.
